Where you go is really not a huge deal. That being said, there is an advantage to going to a school with a medical school, especially at that school's medical school when you apply. You are lucky that Illinois has so many ;)

See question 2 of my blog for more general factors that can help you.

That is true but you have to give them whatever they they remove (organ, limb, etc) plus authorize them to film the surgery. Both UCLA and Loma Linda University (Calif) are teaching hospitals, and those are the places that provide free surgeries.

lol, this is clearly the work of AL Shabaab, it is the 12th such bombing not the first, it is their modus operandi, its not the first time they have killed a somali goverment minister, they had the means and the motive to carry out this abhorren act, we look to their actions not their words and finally they are not killing all thousands of ppl in south central Somalia, cause those ppl have surrendered

  7. realistnika says:

fuck you and al shabaab motherfucker

  8. Shabaab0Almujahideen says:

Al-shabaab made it clear they had nothing to do with this what so ever!! if Al-shabaab wanted to kill people in such a manner they would have been able to kill thousands, this criminal act has been condemned by Al-Shabaab….this death and destruction is thanks to the US policy dividing somalis and supporting on faction against the other…this bombing is not claimed by anyone as yet is similar to somaliland and puntlands bombings Al-shabaab sent thier condolences to those families affected

Generally speaking, PT is not an "easy" program to get into. Typically, programs have a competitive entrance policy…meaning just because you've met the requirements as an undergraduate does not guarantee you will be admitted to the graduate level program. Schools often state a minimum GPA of 3.0 or 2.5, but realistically, students who are admitted have a much higher GPA…typically 3.5 or higher. Furthermore, they have letters of reference, have taken the GRE, may have sat for an interview, etc…whatever the school requires.

However, there are some "direct" admit programs. This means that students are admitted at the freshman level and are allowed to remain in the program through the graduate phase, as long as they maintain the appropriate GPA and course load.

Here is a list of accredited programs in NY…those with the notation "A2" are direct admit programs…the rest are the tradiational competitive entry.

obviously you have intelligence the world doesnt know about..this cowboy way of conclusion is what the FBI and CIA are known for,so they can character assasinate groups like al-shabaab without bothering to find out for the benefit of the people who,why and how..where was the bomber in video?if he dressed like a women wouldn’t have the most casualties been at back were women sat? i would have discussed the issue of khawaarij with you but looking at your page you seem to have very little knowledge

  14. mambozz says:

lets be serious, the camera was facing the speaker on the podium, the sucide bomber i
was sitting at the back with the women, dressed as a woman, and made his way to the front to kill the ministers who were sitting at the front, this is according to the witness statements of those who survived the carnage, as for the C.I.A and F.B.I. being involved in this bombing, well thats a conspiracy too far, discussing the khawaarij with me is irrelevant in this case…

Hey, I have lived in Austria all my life (except right now) and I think that the only way you can get it "free" is by being a resident of the country. But all the tuition is covered by taxes which are dang high, and when you area a resident you have to pay them. At least, thats what people have told me while I lived there.

AL Shabaab target those who have a different opinion to their own, who offer Somalia sunni Islam, not this khawarij Islam, im sorry

There are about 125 accredited medical schools in the US. For detailed information, you can check the website of the AAMC, THat is the official organization that coordinate info about accredited med schools in the US.

Besides med schools, there are about 80 Colleges of Pharmacy and a large number of universities that have training in nursing, medical technology and other specialties.

You need to zero in a little on exactly what you want to do. When you get to university you can check at the career development office or the office of the advisor for Pre Health Profession majors. They will be able to give you more information.

Obviously, to be a medical researcher, you need to have a very strong background in science, so probably you want to major in biology or chemistry, and take lots of math courses so that you will be able to do all the calculations involved in your experiments and research.
