VeoMed, a Blend of Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube, Emerges as a Leading Social Media Solutions Provider for the Medical Community

Six months after its public launch, VeoMed.com has emerged as a leading social media site for the medical community.  VeoMed.com blends the best features of YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter into an integrated platform designed to facilitate better communication, collaboration, and information sharing around pertinent issues in medicine.  More than 80 organizations have already created online communities on VeoMed.com, and tens of thousands of doctors, scientists, nurses, and other medical professionals have used the platform to engage in interactive learning, conversation, and networking.   VeoMed.com is home to well-respected organizations such as the John Wayne Cancer Institute, the Columbia University Trauma and PTSD Program, the Albany Medical College Department of Emergency Medicine, and the University of Virginia Department of Pathology.

All of VeoMed.com’s features are free to use for healthcare professionals, hospitals, universities, and anybody with the goal of advancing or learning about medicine.  VeoMed.com users can upload and share rich-media content, dialogue, and receive a stream of updates from organizations and other users.  Users are able to interact and share content publicly by creating an Open Access portal, or privately by creating a Private Access portal that is invitation only.

Thomas Chandy, VeoMed.com’s co-founder, was inspired to create a place for the medical community to share information while developing medical software for Harvard Medical School.  “After working on a project dealing with visual material related to heart scans, I realized that the medical community needed a centralized place to share and store information,” explains Chandy.  Two years after setting out to create that centralized place, Chandy and co-founder Aaron Krinsky are confident that VeoMed.com will advance the study of medicine and ultimately improve patient care.

Sadly there are no good medical schools (they are not colleges – these are graduate programs meaning you need a bachelors degree) on Coney Island. Isn't that in Brooklyn. Seriously consider leaving New York.

Students under Foreigner's Quota need not to appear in the Admission test as long as the quota for their seat remains available.

Pls write to the Principal Dhaka Medical College requesting him to send you the Application Forms for 'Foreign-Students' admission.

Your Green Cards and such documents along with academic certificates are to be submitted at the time of filing the application.

You need to pay Taka 100,000/- per year basis for enrollment in 2009-010 session.

For the top 180 freshmen places in 2006 in whole Bangladesh, nearly 18000 (eighteen thousand) applicants sat for the medical college entrance examination.

DMCH draws in students not only from the whole of Bangladesh, but from throughout South Asia with students hailing from as far away as Kashmir to Nepal and Bhutan.

Professors typically select the books for their classes, so each class will have different books, so there is not a list. Find out what are the most popular books for M1 (First year med school) courses and look at those. Looking at Med school web sites may help, or may not.

There might be Gimik in 2010. When Mylene guested on Ruffa and Ai, she said, “Abangan nyo po yung muling pagsasama-sama ng isang barkada…” Camille Prats was also a guest, so she smiled and said, “Parang alam ko yan, kasi ako ang younger version nyan…” Also in an interview with WIll Devaughn sa Juicy, he said that he is currently working on Gimik 2010. Kaya parang meron talaga… It won’t be the same without Ricky though. :-( Kaya mag-watch out na lang tayo!

One of the best design schools around is College For Creative Studies – it feeds into some of the best design firms in the country! However, it is in Detroit, which is probably about a 30 minute drive from Ann Arbor.

First of all i would like to give you best regards.
I am really shocked on reading your question.
A/T india times ranking AFMC stands 2nd after AIIMS.
Recent news says that AFMC has collaborated with WHO.
So one has no need to worry about the future.
So AFMC no doubt is the best college for medical aspirants.
"""BEST OF LUCK FOR UR FUTURE"""

Check the CET brochure for the number of seats available in various colleges in Bangalore.
    http://kea.kar.nic.in/kea_brochure.htm

If you get a rank 150, you can easily get into most of the med colleges in Bangalore. If you are a general merit student, then getting into BMC with rank 150 might be a little difficult. Anyways don't forget to attend 2nd round of counselling. For last year's medical cut-offs, download the cut-off list from KEA website:
    http://kea.kar.nic.in/medi_cutoff_2k7.pdf

Well. I'm a first year student of BMC. My rank was 111 (general merit) and got into BMC in the second round.

    Anyways, best of luck :)
